My first MAC Lipstick!

I finally got my first MAC lipstick today! After much researching and many visits to my local MAC store, I decided to go with..... Angel! Its such a wearable color, I can use it for my everyday casual look, or for a more dressed up look. Im sure by now everyone has seen or owns this lipstick! I was so excited when I went to purchase it! Even though its a "frost" I dont really notice any frosty sheen to it, which im glad.

I think its such a pretty lipstick so I keep it on display in my room :) I've never really been a lipstick type of girl, so I think this color is perfect for me. Not to dramatic, but has a wonderful color pay off that looks amazing. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a day to night wearable lipstick.

Whats your favorite MAC lipstick? I would love for my collection to grow :)

Sex and the city

Unless you have been living under a rock ;) you all know and have seen Carrie's necklace on Sex and the City.

For me its such an iconic look and I think its just fabulous (well everything Carrie wears is fabulous) So anyways I just had to get one for myself. I had searched around alot of different sites and read review because I wanted to make sure it would be perfect. I found the perfect one on Etsy. If you haven't heard of it before, its an amazing site... you can find almost everything and anything you can think of, and most of it is handmade. I had spotted one on BestPersJewelry and its perfect. One of my good friends just got home from a tour in Iraq on Christmas eve, and to my surprise guess what he hands me... (Im assuming my boyfriend gave him the idea)

PERFECT!! Its everything I had wished and more. They Send it out in such a cute little box with a bow, had a little card saying Merry Xmas, and as a extra surprise in a little bag there was a small charm with my initial on it. Both are perfect and very well made from .925 sterling silver. Im going to purchase a shorter chain so I can wear the charm above the name. They have so many different options on there site of writing font, size, chain length, .925, Gold, or Gold plated and much more.

Check out the site and get one of your own personalized necklace for you or a friend!

Shady Lady

So I have finally got my hands on all 3 of the Shady Lady Eyeshadow palettes by the Balm!! Ive taking some photos of the palettes and how AMAZING the colors are. All of them are just wonderful and they go on like silk, almost no fall out, and has a huge mirror which comes in very handy. My next few posts will be swatches of each of the volumes, because a post of 27 different eye shadows will be a little bit too long lol :) and easier to do each one by volume. Enjoy these few pics of each of them and check back the next couple days for the full review of each!

Sephora says:

What it does:
Let your inner artist run wild with this tray full of shadyLady shadows. From the subtle to the bold, the sheer to the opaque, swish your brush and create a new masterpiece with each application. Featuring 9 shades tucked inside a zebra print package, this palette is a treat for the eyes in more ways than one.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Synthetic Dyes
- Phthalates
- GMOs
- Triclosan.

What else you need to know:
Use it wet or dry as both an eyeshadow and shadow liner

L-R: Vol. 1,Vol. 2, Vol. 3

These are available at Sephora, and the Balm. I purchased mine for TJ Maxx and Marshalls for $12.99 each which is a STEAL! Vol. 3 has two missing colors (lusty lee and open to offers olwen) so I got that pallet for around $8. Theres nothing I love more than a great bargain!

theBalm Lippies

Over the holidays I picked up a few lip glosses from the balm. Ive never tried any of there lip products before but now I am in love!

The 3 I pick up are:
* Stainiac in Beauty Queen- "hint of tint for lips and cheeks" I've never used a stain before but love the idea of it since I am always drinking something or eating, I feel like I have to constantly re apply gloss. This stuff is amazing! Its a beautiful reddish-pinkish color and you can make it as sheer or as intense as you like! You can dap it on your cheeks for a nice flush feeling, or apply more for a more dramatic look. It also gives you enough time to blend and play around with it before it dries. When applied on the lips its looks beautiful on almost any skin tone,            and taste amazing! I feel like everytime I put it on I keep licking my lips lol, and doesn't make my lips dry at all. I could of done a whole blog review just on this product because I love it so much!

                                                                                * Balm Shelter in Girl Next Door-  First off, its SPF 17 which is always good to see when you live in Florida! The color is a lovely pink, it looks like there might be some glitter when I look in the tube but when applied its not too visible (which is a good thing in my eyes) , has good staying power, and is not overly sticky at all. And of course smells and tastes amazing! I always just throw it in my purse because its such a wearable color. Another great product,

                                                                                * plump your pucker in cocoa my coconut- This smells AMAZING, reminds me off the beach! yummy! I picked this one up because I have been wanting a nude gloss for awhile and this is it! The color is perfect, nude with a slight pinkish tint, and looks great applied over The Balm Stainiac. Its got a little tingle/burn to it for the plumping affect, but its not overly harsh at all.

From top to bottom: balm shelter, plump you pout, stainiac
Have you tried any off theBalms lippies?? Which are your favorite?

New Year, Fresh start!

Happy New Year everyone!! I hope you all had an amazing holiday season! It has been awhile since I have blogged, so since its a new year im making sure that I keep up my blogging a few times a week :) Im going to be doing blogs on not only make up review, but DIYs, Fashion, and all that good stuff.

Im going to give you a little sneek peak at one of my up and coming DIYs. My mom gave me a cute little black leather shoulder bag from back when she younger and when I layed my eyes on it I knew it had potential for something amazing! (hopefully lol)

So keep checking back for when the final product is finished! Wish me luck ;)
