Vice Palette

So my wonderful Fiance surprised me with the Urban Decay Vice Palette! I have been lusting over this palette for some time now, so I am over joyed to finally own it.  Everything I expected from an Urban Decay Palette. The shadows are so buttery and pigmented. About 10 neutrals and 10 brights. Its a great addition to my collection as I own mostly neutral/natural palettes and shadows so this offers some really fun colors to play with. The swatches are with no primer and I just lightly swiped each color. They are all perfect in there own way. Jagged is a bit different as it has no real pigmented color base, more of a very very sheer black with glitter over it. But love them all! Now tell me your favorite color combos :)

Rimmel lipsticks

 Rimmel for Kate Moss Lipsticks

So let me start off by telling you that I haven't worn drugstore lipstick in years, I'm not really sure why but I think the flashbacks I have of being in middle school and wearing some hot pink sparkly covergirl lipstick which made me look ridiculous has something to do with it. Plus I always found them to be too sheer for my liking. I was walking around my local drugstore one day and saw these adorable packaged lipsticks and decided to give them a try. So different from what I last remember, I'm almost upset I have been missing out on great cheap lipsticks for this long! Seriously the most pigmented lipsticks I have ever tried. And the sleek black tube with Kate in red had me sold. I will definitely be getting back-ups for these, the formula is just perfect, rich with pigment and matte, but not drying.

INPINK

A few weeks back I won a great giveaway from Belle De Couture's blog and received a $40 gift card for INPINK, an online jewerly store. Anyone who knows me knows that I am well, a tad bit obsessed with jewerly... especially bracelets for my arm party :) I had heard so much about INPINK but hadn't owned anything from them yet. They have SO much amazing jewerly to pick from it took me awhile to decide, but in the end of course I knew I would end up using it towards some fab bracelets. Lucky for me when ordering they were also offering 30% off all bracelets, I was sold! Here's what I ended up ordering:

My first choice was this beautiful Silver and Gold Mesh Wrap Bracelet with Rhinestones. This is gorgeous to say the least. It has beautiful rhinestone and shimmery gold beads. It was beautiful on the website but in person its even  more amazing. This adds a touch of glamour to any outfit.

Next up is this Black Pave Clasp Cable Bracelet. Its black twisted cable with a gorgeous rhinestone pave clasp with gold. I love this and see myself wearing this as a regular addition to my arm party.

Last but not least I chose the Rose Gold Pave Cross Stretch Bracelet. I love the mixed metals and shimmer in the beads, and of course the lovely rose-gold toned cross with paved rhinestones. This beauty goes perfectly with my Rose Gold Fossil watch. You really cant go wrong with a pretty mixed metal cross bracelet.

Oh and I must add, The packaging they use is adorable. Every detail is perfect. The cute little Charms hanging from the bow and each item is wrapped in INPINK tissue paper. It felt like Christmas opening up this adorable little package. Overall I am more than impressed, the jewerly is made so perfectly and I cant wait to make my next order. Visit INPINK and check out all there fab pieces :)

XO!

Etsy spotlight!

I have been so MIA from blogging =/ life has been crazy to say the least lately (which I will share with you soon), but im so glad to be back blogging! Today I want to talk about one of my new favorite Etsy shops. Etsy never fails me, I can spend hours and hours looking at all the amazing shops on there. Also there's nothing I love more than supporting small businesses.

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to win an amazing bracelet from an Etsy shop RutherfordsByRebecca. She is a lovely girl with an amazing collection of chain link bracelets which are all named after her family members, how sweet! From fun and girly glitter bracelets to elegant tortoiseshell color bracelets. A must for any arm party! I chose The Coyle Bracelet in clear glitter. Let me tell you I was more than satisfied with what I recived.

When I opened the package it was full of colorful tissue paper which had my Coyle bracelet inside. It felt like Christmas opening the package! Its such a well made piece of jewerly and it fits like a dream. I love the glitter in each link, just adds some sparkle to my wrist. Every time I wear it I get complements from my girlfriends. Now its become a regular guest at my arm party :) Also in the package there was a sweet card from Becky. It was such a lovely personal touch! It always makes me smile when they include a cute little note, makes me feel special :)

A few of my Arm Party creations with the Coyle :)

Here's the link for RutherfordsByRebecca
I highly recommend checking out this Etsy shop, you wont be disappointed!
Hope you all had a fun 4th of July!!

My last few shopping trips I have come home with at least one turquoise item to add to my closet :)

DIY Fringe Scarf

Hey loves! Sorry its been awhile since I posted last! Have been very busy with my best friends baby shower this past weekend which was amazing :) I will share some pics of that soon and another DIY on diaper cakes!

So anyways, I found this awesome DIY Fringe scarf and ever since I made my first one I cant stop making them! Its so easy and looks amazing, ive already made one for me, my mom, and sister!

All you need is:
- A t-shirt or tank top
- Pair of sharp fabric scissors

                                                                    Step 1

I used an old tank top from forever 21. You can use solid color or a print shirt for more of an intense look.

Step 2

Using you scissors cut your shirt horizontally just under the armholes to make a rectangular tube.

Step 3

Start cutting vertical strips across the whole bottom half of the shirt. The longer you cut them, the longer the fringe will be. I went just under half of my shirt.

Step 4
(Final step!)

Final step is to tug down on all of the strings to make them longer. I also slightly tugged the whole shirt once I was done.

Finished!! Told you it was easy ;)
Now you have your super cute new scarf to wear in less than 10 min!
You will def be seeing me wear this is many of my up coming OOTD.

Enjoy your new scarf! IF you have any questions about this DIY just comment and let me know! Thanks dolls! XO!

Shady Lady Vol 2

This is Vol 2 of the shady Lady palette from the Balm. I love this palette just as much as the first one! I find the eye shadows to have the same quality and great pigmentation.

(From L-R) Top Row

Caught in the act courtney ~ shadow/liner, Rich brown color with gold sparkles. This is my favorite color is use as a liner.
feisty feclicia ~ shadow/liner, a dark plum/black with hint of silver shimmer.
insane jane ~ shadow/liner, a medium taupe brown with a frost shimmer.

(From L-R) Middle Row

bossy bobbi ~ shadow/liner, a frosty medium dark teal blue color
makeout mary ~ shadow/liner, a khaki yellowish green with a frost finish
just this once jamie ~ a light pink mauve with a silver shimmer.

(From L- R) Last Row

mischievous marissa ~ Coppery orange with a frost finish.
tempting tara ~ bright white with frost finish.
devilish danielle ~ champagne with a hint of peach and frost finish.

Do you use any of theBalm products? If so which are your favorite? Im really tempted to buy the Nude'Tude palette!

Homemade Lip Scrub

Since im new to wearing lipstick, I never noticed how chapped my lips are. So before I can wear my new favorite lippie its time for a scrub. There's no way I will pay $20 + for a lip scrub when I can make my own! This is a super easy scrub, luckily I already had all the ingredients at home.

Heres what you need:

1 tsp

In a small cup, heat 1tsp of natural honey in the microwave for 4-5 seconds

-Honey has healing and hydrating properties which will result in soft lips.

Stir in 1 tsp of healthy edible oil (olive oil, sweet almond oil, or sunflower oil)

-Oil will make a think protective barrier

Add 2 tsp of white sugar

-Creates a gentle exfoliant to remove dead skin

Add 1-2 drops of an essential oil such as peppermint, spearmint, lemon, or lime. I used a combo of peppermint and lemon.

Finished product! Put some on your finger and use a gentle circular motion

Wipe off with water or damp cotton ball then apply some lip balm. I used Carmex.

                                         Enjoy!! xoxo
